For years, Sally’s Manor has captivated audiences with its spine-chilling horror experience. However, this year, the much awaited event evolved into something even more unforgettable. Namely, Sally’s Manor: Hearts of Horror. Taking place on February 8th, 2025, at The Taprobane, the event blended the thrill of horror with the romance of Valentine’s Day, delivering an immersive, high-energy evening that left attendees in awe.

Sally’s Manor has long been a signature event for the Rotaract Club of the Informatics Institute of Technology (RACIIT), attracting hundreds of attendees with its eerie tale of Sally, the ghost who haunts the IIT Ramakrishna Building. Traditionally held around Halloween, this year the event was reinvented to coincide with Valentine’s Day, adding a romantic yet sinister twist to the infamous legend.

The new storyline delved deeper into Sally’s tragic love affair, mixing passion, betrayal, and vengeance in a heart-wrenching narrative. Once again, attendees were thrust into a dark and mysterious world, where love went terribly wrong, and a haunting spirit sought revenge. This fresh take on the legend offered more than just a thrilling horror experience—it gave the story emotional depth and a new edge.From the moment guests stepped into the venue, they were transported into Sally’s dark world. The venue’s gothic yet valentines decorations set the stage, while immersive lighting effects created a chilling atmosphere that had guests moving to the beats all night long! The tracks of the DJ sets echoed through the venue, with Afro House and Progressive music building suspense and excitement as the night unfolded.

As part of the immersive experience, interactive engagement activities, such as the Wall of Hearts and Secret Admirer Notes, added an engaging touch. These elements allowed guests to interact with the story, creating an experience that was not just a party, but an integral part of the evening’s narrative. The Love Radar Indicator System, where guests could signal their relationship status, kept the vibe playful and social, adding a touch of romance and mystery to the new theme.The DJ lineup was a key highlight of the evening. Talented artists such as Iman Cader, Imthxad, Shenal and Shiibuya delivered electrifying performances that kept the energy high from the start to the finish. The seamless blend of music genres catered to different tastes, the final transition from Afro House to Progressive ensured that the night ended with a bang. The crowd’s energy was palpable, with everyone dancing and fully immersed in the experience.
